Between 2011-2014 TMC’s most popular block of programming was their Saturday evening horror movie marathon called “Splatterdays on Saturday”. They wanted to relaunch the block with a new campaign. We conceived, designed and created the campaign we called “Tools of the Trade”, highlighting the thematic types of tools one would see in horror movies. 

We shot original video for each tool and composed it together in After Effects using scripts to automatically generate “technical” lines and annotations on each clip. The toolkit needed to be composable to multiple uses such as brand spots and menus.

For the 2014 rebrand we went with a "big type" theme with a more humorous bent. This was an on-air only campaign that could be customized for monthly spots.
